If you are looking for pumpkin patches that won’t break the budget, we’ve highlighted 14 attractions with lower admission prices, and one that is even FREE.

Pumpkin PatchBloom Where You’re Planted Farm, Avoca

Address: 911 108th St., Avoca

Attractions: Hayrides, U-Pick Patch, nature trails, farm animals, corn box, farm-themed play areas hay climb, rubber duck races, egg race, family-sized tire swing, bucking bronco barrel swing, yard games – corn hole, ladder golf, giant “pong,” agricultural exhibits, scavenger hunt, Pumpkin Barn & Gift Shop featuring antiques, vintage and handmade goods, Schoolhouse Café offering lunch & snacks in our historic one-room schoolhouse, parties, field trips & group tours available

We keep our focus on agriculture and the fall season and are located on an authentic family farm. Our attraction is unique because of its unique shopping experience and vintage market.

J’s Pumpkin Patch, Cozad

Address: 76472 Road 422, Cozad (3 miles north of Cozad)

Attractions: 7-acre corn maze, slingshot, pick your own pumpkins and corn, fainting goats. Pumpkins are sold by weight. This is a small farm that is good for younger children to walk. Also, great for small groups. All activities are included in the admission price.

Price: $5 per person (ages 2 and younger free)

The Scarecrow Patch, St. Libory

Address: 574 Denton Rd, St Libory

Activities: Barnyard Basketball, Jumpin Pumpkin, Scarecrow Fort, Duck Races, Lookout Tower, “SCARECROW” corn maze, petting zoo, barrel-train ride, John Deere Tricycle Track, gunny sack slide, M&M Apple Orchard, 3 zip lines, human foosball, horseshoes, corn cannon, hayrack ride, Pumpkin Chunkin’, concessions, country store, craft store, bunnyville.

Camp Fontanelle Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze, Fontanelle

Address: 9677 County Road 3, Fontanelle.

Attractions: 9-acre corn maze, zipline, laser tag in the maze, jumping pillows, tree climbing, hayrack ride, petting barn, pick your pumpkin, Mine Shaft (vertigo tunnel), roller slide, Fort Jones, “Cave of Trickery” Speleo Cave, barrel train, yard games, human foosball, mole ball, critter cove, campfires.

New This Year: Opening now on Friday afternoons and offering rope and harness tree climbing.

Dates/Hours: Fridays, 4-7:30 p.m.; and Saturdays & Sundays, 1-7 p.m. September 16-November 4.

Unique Features: Our pumpkins are a freewill donation. The purpose of our corn maze and pumpkin patch is to help raise money for our summer camping ministry. The profits from the attraction and pumpkins go back into improving and enhancing our programming. We are the only place that offers tree climbing.

Price: Ages 2 and younger, free; ages 3-11, $5; ages 12 and older, $7; zipline, $10; laser tag, $3; tree climbing, $10.

FREE! Nielsen’s U-Pick Kids Pumpkin Patch, Minden

Address: 839 33 Rd, Minden

Attractions: Pick pumpkins and gourds of all shapes and sizes from the 30-acre patch. From mammoth to baby boos and everything in between.  Corn maze, FREE slushies and popcorn on Saturdays & Sundays. Pumpkin crafts, 12-car riding train.

Dates/Hours: Open now until October 31 from Sunup until Sundown.

Price: FREE Admission. Guests pick up a pumpkin price list at the entrance. Pumpkins are priced based on size. Largest pumpkin that takes two people to carry is just $10! Guests pay for pumpkins as they leave based on the price list and the honor system.

Grandpa’s Punkinberry Patch, Atlanta

Address: 10798 726 Rd, Holdrege, NE

Attractions: 150-foot slide, pumpkin chuckin (not included in admission), corn maze, straw bale maze, hayrack ride, jump pad, train ride

Unique Features: Penny scrambles every weekend at 4 p.m.

Dates/Hours: Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. September 22-October 28

Price: $8 plus tax for ages 2 and older (under 2 free)

The Bumpkin Patch at Estes Farms

Attractions: Hayrack ride, corn maze, pumpkin slingshot, Gaga ball pit, carpet ball, hay slide, pony hops, water pump duck races, pumpkin bowling,  bean bag toss, tic-tac-toe, barrel wagon ride, Giant Jenga. Pink pumpkins weekend Oct. 6 & 7 for breast cancer awareness.

Stone Ridge Farm, Tecumseh

Address: 4 miles south of Tecumseh on Hwy 50 at Road 724

Attractions: Pumpkins, gourds, Native corn, corn stalks,  homegrown mums in all colors, hayrack rides to feed the cows, paintball targets, corn bin, pumpkin painting, concessions. Shop in the store that sells items crafted by people in Nebraska. Pumpkins are already picked, priced and washed.

Dates/Hours: September 12-October 31. Tuesdays-Thursdays, 1-6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays, 1-6 p.m. Closed Mondays.

Price: Hayrack rides are $6 per person ages 2 and older.Paintballl target practice is $6 per person.

Martin’s Hillside Orchard, Ceresco

Address: 2024 Ashland Road, Ceresco

Attractions: Pick your own pumpkins and fruit. Pre-picked produce also available. Caramel apples, cider slush and other treats available to purchase on weekends. Discovery Trail, Butterfly Garden, kid-sized corn maze, gourd cave, strawtower, tire mountain, bear tunnel, tractor trike track, climbing fort, corn box and tire swing.

Dates/Hours: Tuesdays-Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (open until sunset Thursdays) now through October 31.

Price: $4 per person. Ages 2 and younger free. ($3 of entry fee applied to u-pick fruit purchase)

The Pumpkin Patch at BEFarm, Bayard

Address: 11249 Road 73, Bayard

Attractions: Farm  yard filled with an amazing hay pyramid with a 20-foot slide, duck races, pumpkin bowling, tic-tac-toe, sling shots, u-pick pumpkins and squash. Harvest Fair and Market on October 6 & 7.
